How does hemp work?
We use a type of hemp plant called cannabis sativa L. which helps to restore balance within the body. Our bodies have a system (endocannabinoid) with CB1 & CB2 receptors. CB2 receptors are expressed in the immune system which is what reacts with the cannabinoids used in CBVIT products. CBD doesn’t contain the same psychoactive properties as THC so it can be used without the dangerous side effects usually associated with THC in cannabis and instead has other beneficial effects.
Can CBVIT be used in conjunction with other medication?
Yes, however we suggest consulting with your doctor first if you are on other medication or have a health condition.
